Montessori School

Step 2 – Shadow and Screening Day

Prospective families may choose to have a shadow day for their student.  The shadow day is a great opportunity for prospective students to experience what Little Scholars has to offer.  During the shadow day, the student will get a better understanding of a day at LSM and the Montessori program and curriculum.  Students are partnered with a similar current student and "shadows" them throughout the day.   Screening can be done this same day.

Step 3 –   Complete the Application

Complete the online admissions application.  As part of the application process, please provide a current grade report or transcript along with test scores. You may also give our Admissions office permission to request the information from the student’s current school.  Registration is complete and attendance is permitted only when the online enrollment contract, application fee, and all health records have been submitted.

Admissions Process

Step 4 – The Admissions Decision

We don't want to keep a family waiting to know the decision on admittance to Little Scholars, so we try to inform the families on admission status within 1 week of being submitted to the admissions board.

The mission of Little Scholars is to enrich and educate the children enrolled in our program utilizing the Montessori method of learning. We guide children from distraction to concentration, from dependency to self-sufficiency, and from self-centeredness to respect and concern for others. Our students will develop a desire to learn and thrive at their own pace. It is our goal to broaden this desire by encouraging YOUR little scholar to reach for academic success!
